We're floored!

PM said that the flooring guys had an opening and if we wanted them to move forward a week early and we agreed, but specified that the floor had to be 100% covered to keep it from getting damaged and it was with a thick foam type layer. Waiting for tile backsplash, carpet, staircase stain, driveway (been too rainy) & the punch list drill down to be completed which mainly consists of drywall & trim touch up. It looks like the gas line people hit some water pvc pipe that will now need to be replaced and will delay the sod...booo! --Ericka

  1. That is a very good thinking on your part to prepone the flooring work and cover the floor to protect it from any wear and tear. I am not sure if RH is doing all sides sodded irrigation in your community. If not, it is better to have a atleast wiring laid out for those additional valves in the new zones.

    1. The sod and irrigation stops at the rear corners of the house but were going to have some patch seed layered over the rear of the house, its less expensive than sod and definitely more reliable than the straw/bare seed RH puts down. We will probably have to settle for sprinklers in the back.

  2. Did they see the leak right away or was it covered already?

    1. This happened in the yard, Ill get a pic today. It looks like the excavator pulled on the pipe accidentally, and its sticking out of the ground.
