What would you do?

Good updates: Both broken windows were replaced, most of the cabinet trim was added (still missing the crown), breakfast bar counter was applied (more on that later), Powder room wood flooring installed, front porch framed. There were many pieces of blue tape so the PM mustve come through and marked things up for the subs coming this week.

Final 5/21 & Closing 5/23

The vinyl floor and bathroom tile guy was there today installing flooring and tile. We will be upgrading the bathroom later so we went with the basic level tile & counters. The tile is almond but its difficult to see at this point

Everything was fine until I saw this...

The right side of the tile had to be cut at an angle because the tub was obviously installed at a skewed angle, and he was just working with what he was given. Im sure he is going to finish this tomorrow, and were supposed to have a PM meeting tomorrow as well.

What can be done about this? Would you guys make an issue out of this or just deal with it?
Once the grout is in, it wont be so pronounced, But uh...

  1. You've had to deal with some sloppy workmanship in the last few days. I would definitely express your disappointment to your PM and see what he is willing to do. Hope you are happy with his response!

  2. Take my advice and make them fix it now while it isn't too hard to do. You'll think about that every time you look at it if you don't and it will eat at you.

  3. I am with 2nlehigh. If you believe it to be bad, be politely direct with your PM. I handled almost everything with my PM by presenting a worry and then asking his thoughts. Most times he corrected it. There were times when he assured me it will be good to go when done. He never did let me down.

  4. Most of these things will be fixed if you bring it to PM notice and I feel expressing disappoinment will get the job done. PM's do care about the delivery they made, customer satisfaction and the feedback after closing. They always try to keep the customer(you) happy.

  6. Wow, I thought the supports were a different size at first but now I see they were haphazardly turned around, classic.
