  1. Wow! It really looks like a house! What struck me as funny is how they install some people's vanity lights with the globes pointing up and other people have them pointing down. I wonder which way ours will be. Anyway, the house looks great and I'm glad your PM said he will take care of the sloppy workmanship you've endured.

    2. The SR told us that it was because people did not like the look of the CFL bulbs that they are installing as part of the Energy Star rating with the globes pointed down. Pointed them up to try and hide the CFLs.

  2. Coool..I like the smart home feature with local inputs. It completely takes you into a different world. It is one of the DIY project that I have in my list. I have everything ready to start working on it as soon as we move in..

    1. Yep :) I've also seen it in the master. If u hit them at the right time ( or frame it yourself at the last minute ) its a nice custom addition.

  4. Everything is coming along really nicely! Are all of your faucets and fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen "standard"? Just wondering b/c I am curious as to what it will look like.

    1. Thanks! Yes those are the standard fixtures. We thought they looked great. We will probably only change the kitchen one.

    2. I like them a lot as well. I couldn't see paying $300 for a faucet when I can get one at home depot for $100-$150
