ReplyDeleteFor the Island, you put an outlet on the other side? My original thought was the one they give is enough, but now you have me wondering. What was the thinking for an extra?

ReplyDeleteStuart, after closing Sgt Rich noticed that while the outlet provided on the cabinet end was great for occasional appliance use, when you sit at the other end with a laptop or other device that needs a charge you have to run a cable across the island or to an adjacent room. This way keeps your power cable close and tidy. Im told its a very simple install to insert one later but if youre not handy you should let them do it or call someone. Hubby didnt want to void anything do it himself. --Ericka

DeleteI like the light switch idea. I'm adding that to notes of things they won't probably do for me. I don't know how much time they allocate for the pre-construction meeting but I'm sure I need double from all the notes I've taken from the blogs.
